Geography

For many centuries, half of humanity has been ignored as a subject of study in geography, as society has traditionally been considered a neutral, asexual and homogeneous entity, without addressing the profound differences that exist between men and women in their use of space.

​The Guide of Geography to mainstreaming gender in university teaching offers proposals, examples of good practices, teaching resources and consultation tools to reverse androcentrism and include the gender perspective in teaching, knowledge transfer and research.
